Well, today there was nothing really interesting, same lessons and I'm just blogging.
First, as you all know, I have to call my successor early in the morning to train him and soon he will take over me. Today was a guy called Hashim. First, I will describe how he looked like when I first met him, he was fat and I didn't really think he could turn well. After about 1 or 2 months of training, he finally could turn well enough not to fall down or not keep his balance only he used to turn in the wrong direction. Today he shouted. My heart was palpitating as the other 2 successors were not 'up to my standard', I was wondering if he could shout well enough for a first timer. After he shouted, he turned the wrong direction, I was like totally embarrassed. My mind was 'HOW COULD HE TURN THE WRONG DIRECTION! IT'S SOOO EASY!' After the Pledge he finally turned the right direction and he shouted the CORRECT COMMAND. In my opinion, he was actually quite good for a first timer, maybe he was even better than me or Joel. He is just like a seedling ready to be nurtured and the only question is 'Can he grow well?' He was really really making up to my standard, if he could shout well and loud and turn properly. I would be REALLY proud. If you can't understand how I feel, here's an example: say you were a swimming coach. You were posted to the LOSER bunch who could not swim or hated swimming. You spent alll your time coaching them and finally one boy he developed the passion for swimming. After 5 years or so, he joined the Olympics and won first prize! That would be how I felt and I'm sure that was how the people who trained me and Joel felt too....
End of blog! I will update if I remember more things.
