Ok, first I will voice out my opinions. Then, I will talk about how I found each paper (hard, easy, average) and how well I think I have done.
Opinions: Well, I'm talking about English first. English paper was ok ok. Compared to the CA1 it was actually a teeny bit harder but overall comparing it to CA1 and last year's SA2 it was manageable. The sections that I think I will not do well in are the synthesis and the comprehension cloze. The reason? For synthesis, I had 1 question that I totally did NOT know. I had no clue at all how to solve it. I think it was Question 68. And what's worse is tat MC said only 1 person got full marks and the rest of us got either 4, 2 or 0. Wow... Some people got 0. It's not that kind of -I'm happy that u got low marks- that laugh. It's just that we're 6a and people GOT A 0! I hope that I'm not the one. For the comprehension cloze, I'm quite weak in it as I always replace the wrong words and the words are sooo close but just cant be accepted. I really dislike this section. P**SESS me off.
For Maths, overall the paper was easy but I had not enough time to finish it and I'm sure I lost about 7 or 6 marks already cus of the speed and the last question. I had wasted about lots of time for 1 question cus I had to do GUESS AND CHECK! It really wasted about 15 minutes of my time. I made up for it in the pattern question as I only wasted about maybe 5 mins. Compared t0 CA1 I would rate it as easy. I don't think it was set by Mdm Sharifah as she sets papers way harder than this one. Overall it was easy but I didn't have enuf time to finish the paper as I had to check for careless mistakes.
For MT, it was considered quite easy. Compared To CA1 It was like 3x easier. Really. I thought the booklet A was SUPER DUPER ULTRA easy. There were only bout 3 questions that I didn't know and 2 of them were from the compre cloze which each question was worth 2 MARKS. I lost 4 marks there and 1 mark in the ju zhe xuan zhe. So in total I got 45/50 for booklet A. Chinese Papers are always marked the fastest. The section B was a killer. I'm not kidding! For the 6 questions about half were on your own opinions and I had to write and pick stuff from the passage to support what I said those questions were hard. Real hard.
Lastly, Science. Booklet A was OK but the booklet B, compared to SA2 last year, was hard. Question 38 was a killer. I didn't know what to write at all. It was like my mind went blank. The rest were quite easy but I'd better not say too soon in case, you never know what will happen. Since the exams are over, I do not want to talk about them anymore and I want to temporarily REST! So pls when you talk to me, don't talk about the exams.
Conclusion: The difficulty rate is here: English 8/10, Maths 7/10, MT 6/10 Science, 8/10.
