Today, I did 3 maths problem sums. All 3 of them were, in my opinion, really retarded and extremely hard. I spent like 20 minutes on each question but I still could not figure it out. I managed to do 1 out of 3. If you're thinking, so hard meh? The questions were from a assessment bk called Maths456. Really pissed me off like siao. I spent all the time and it was all wasted. When I saw the answer sheet. The guy did it in like 5 steps only. I was OMGing like mad. How could he do it so fast? I gave up and continued with my English. Then, a question bobbed up in my mind. Why do people have to give such hard questions? Why? What if a child thinks so much until he gets depression or sumthing like that?( Exaggeration) If a child thinks that every exam paper will be so hard, why bother trying? What if his attitude is like that? Although the chances of ones attitude is like this is slim, but there still is a chance right? So why not just set the test papers easier? I mean some schools set papers so difficult that children have a high chance of failure. The PSLE paper is like maybe 3x more easier than the test paper. (Final question) Why do schools have to set so hard exam or even test papers?
