This picture depicts a scene at the hospital. I do not particularly like hospitals as they have many patients who have different types of diseases and some diseases could spread through air. The hospital is spick and span and the place is tidy.
There is a sickly old man lying in the bed. A nurse is currently attending to him. She is very caring and helpful. If all the people in our society could be like her, the world would definitely be a better place to live in. There is a middle-aged woman who is sitting on the chair. Two mischievous children are playing catching in the hospital. I think the old man has probably broken his leg from a fall and his daughter and her children have come to visit him. I feel that the woman is really filial to her father as even though she has to take care of the family, she can make time for her family. As the saying goes ‘ blood is thicker than water.’ So, if one of our family members or relatives is sick, we should try and make time to visit them. However, we should not be like the two children who are playing catching. Their actions will disturb other patients who need time to rest and recuperate. It is really inconsiderate of them, as it will cause noise pollution. They will also bother their grandfather who needs to rest and his leg will not be able to heal faster. Their mother, who is glaring at them furiously, looks livid. If I were there, I would ask them to stop playing immediately. I would suggest that they bring a book or their homework along the next time they visit someone at the hospital. This way, they will not disturb anyone and they can learn new things at the same time. It’s just like killing 2 birds with one stone.
To conclude, the hospital is a very advanced place. Last time in the olden days, there was not even such a thing called caesarean and now there are so many functions or tools that hospitals in the old days did not have. This shows that technology is advancing very fast and nearly all wards are air conditioned already. This also shows that we should treasure our lives as we may lose them anytime.
