Yesterday, I went swimming with my father. We went there and the toilet light was not switched on. So, I went to the lifeguard and asked her about it. She said there was a power trip, the light will resume after a short while. So we changed outside and swam and swam and swam. After about 10 laps, I came out of the pool and the light was STILL NOT FIXED!!! I was incensed, agitated, infuriated. What kind of swimming pool is this? Halloween ar? I thought. So, what i did was to improvise. I used my father's handphone and went into the toilet. The scene shocked me. I expected it to be dark, BUT NOT PITCH DARK! So this must how blind people feel, I thought again. I mean, if you close your eyes, that would be the darkness. Only faint outlines could be seen. Now, I'll elaborate more on a person I call 'chikopek'.A few simple resons why I nick name him that. Number 1: he is old. Number 2, he stays in the guy's toilet for an hour or so. Three, he doesn't know how to swim, because he swims with his head above the water. I call that dog style. So, I plucked up my courage and entered the toilet. The fear of meeting the chikopek was starting to engulf me. I took my towel and soap and entered the shower cubicle. So, I showered and showered, humming a tune to disperse the fear in me. That few minutes were what I call LIVING HELL!(level 1) It was as if I was blind and there was a chikopek around. Luckily, I didn't meet the chikopek. So, I changed and dashed out of the 'Hell'. I was instantly blinded by the white light. But i was reliefed. Because in case the chikopek came, I could smack him. I wish the staff could at least intall some other light sources that do not use electricity. Or maybe they can provide us with torches, instead of standing there idling like models. This is so inconsiderate and selfish of them. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THAT! Not even a word of sorry came out of their mouth. As if their mouth was full of gold! They should emphatise with their swimmers. So, I really envy those people who stay in condos and have a non-public swimming pool. At least their house is so near, so even if there's a power trip, they can just run up to take a shower. Instead of this stupid pool, which I need to drive to get here. So, now I see why Singaporeans are labelled 'UGLY'! All along I thought Singapore was a good place. So, the truth really hurts! Singapore is good, but singaporeans- their attitude is undescribable! BLEH!
