Seems like a long time since I blogged, so I'm giving you guys the latest update on my life. I finished my CA1 a few days ago and I'm quite happy with the results except for my HMT. First, I did pretty well in the paper for Chemistry-30/35, even though I didn't really study. I studied for only about 20mins. There wasn't really lots of topics to cover so the paper could be considered easy. The only problem was that I was super super careless. I could have gotten 4 more marks! I probably didn't revise enough... Anyway, I'm still quite contented but just okay isn't enough, I must get one of the best in class! Moving on to my HMT, I scored 63/100... How crappy is that man!! At least I didn't fail... There were 2 ppl who failed and my teacher said the paper was meant to fail us. If this was O lvl, I'd be dead man! 63/100 is a B4! That would raise my MSG like siao! At least this was only the CA1. Considering that I'm not very pro at Chinese, At least I still passed the paper. Next, my history. This was the subject I hated most. It was so dam boring and the teacher talks so slowly I can fall asleep. Can't believe I still got a 16/20 for the paper after not absorbing about 60% of the info he was talking about. There's a section called SBQ(Source-Based-Questions) which is so tough. The setters will give a piece of information or an artefact and ask for your inference and elaborations on it. (It's worth 5 marks!) What's worse, we have to memorize 4 chapters of the textbk for that exam!!! I spent like 2 hrs revising for this topic!
So, all I can say is I'm quite pleased with my results and I don't really have any regrets. Just have to put in more effort and push myself.( For the rest of my subjects there are no exams) Hope I can continuing doing well in VS!
